23 Weeks!!!

How your baby's growing:Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.


Pretty cool, don't yah think? Isn't that awesome? She's definately moving TONS!! Already practicing her martial arts like her daddy!! hehe. Everything's going great and both me and the baby are doing extrememly well!! It's hard to believe that fall is almost here and that's when she's going to be born. Time is flying pretty fast. I'm trying not to focus so much on the due date but more on the things that need to be done in my house. I have several projects I'm trying to get wrapped up and out of my hair, I know Brandon would sure appreciate if I did!! :-) He's been so good about the whole thing, just kind of letting me do whatever I want.

Brooklyn's doing good. Growing like a leaf. It'll be time to take her shopping for new clothes before too long because she's out-growing the majority of things we have for her. But fall is almost here, so I think we'll be able to hold off for a month! The last couple of weeks she's been around a couple of babies, which has been very interesting to watch since she's never been around them before!! It's that absolute most precious thing I've ever seen. She can't get enough of them. Feeding them their bottles, giving them their toys, and just completely acting like the older sis. Brandon and I are so excited about it because I definately think that she's going to be ready for this new baby. I still don't think she's fully gotten the idea that there's a baby in momma's tummy, but hopefully we'll get her to catch on before too long.
